Your experience starts with an introduction to the history of falconry as a sport, the legalities of owning and flying a bird of prey and the characteristics of different types of bird of prey. After that, you will learn about the basic equipment used and will be shown how to pick up and hold a hawk safely. Once you have mastered the basic handling of the bird you will learn how to fly the bird to a gloved fist. Finally there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture a truly unforgettable experience. You will be at there for approximately 3 hours in total.

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. The minimum age for this experience is 10 years old.
